A lively info night in Dulwich Hill!

1 November 2025

Thanks to the highly-engaged crowd who turned up last Monday for “Go Solar and Storage in Dulwich Hill!”, our information night at Butchers Brew Bar on Marrickville Rd.

We’ve now got another bunch of Inner Westies keen to explore more solar, batteries, heat pump hot water and the electrification of everything. We’ll be there to help them on their way.

The lively crowd of our Butchers Brew Bar information evening.

As the energy transition to renewables gathers pace, we’ve noticed how the technical detail in the community’s questions has changed.

Once, we had to explain the difference between solar hot water and solar photovoltaics.

Now we’re answering questions like “how long can the cable run be from a battery to my meter board”, “what’s the difference between an AC-coupled battery and a DC-coupled battery?”, and “Is there any issue installing a battery outside a window?”.

Fortunately our solar installer Phil Keenan from Evolution Solar and Electrical could answer all these questions, and a whole lot more.

Was this our last community information night for the year? We’re not sure! If you want one this year near you, send us a message via our website and we’ll see what we can do.

But if you want to get started now with solar, batteries and the electrification of everything, hit the Contact Us tab on our website and tell us how we can help with your plans.

Thanks to Frankie and Caroline from Butchers Brew Bar for making us so welcome.
