Happy Solar Family: Dover Heights

A beautiful new solar installation for John’s family in Dover Heights.

We’re regularly asked if we can help people outside the Inner West with solar and all things to do with home electrification. The answer is Yes We Can! 

While we don’t promote our community-based service outside the Inner West*, if people come to us seeking help, if we can, we do. 

And so when John and his six-person household in Dover Heights came to us at the start of the year seeking advice on solar and batteries, we were only too pleased to help … especially when we saw how perfect their roof is for solar panels, as you can see from these photos above and below.

We’ve now helped them install one of the biggest systems we’ve supported. It’s an 18.48 kilowatt system with 42 solar panels, plus three 8 kilowatt-hour batteries. 

We can’t wait to see how big a dint this puts in their power bill!

And as an indication of how much solar and battery costs have fallen, this system cost almost exactly the same as another we facilitated in Paddington 13 months ago which had half the number of panels and only one-third the battery capacity.
